In his capacity as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the journal Translational Lung Cancer Research (TLCR), Dr Rafael Rosell presents the second of two monographic issues covering current 'hot' topics and latest developments in lung cancer research, laboratory techniques and novel therapeutic targets.This second special issue, out in June 2013, is comprised of review articles on topics such as adaptive resistance to targeted therapies in cancer, customizing chemotherapy, use of biomarkers and the state-of-the-art in radiology. Contributors are from medical oncologists at the Dr Rosell Oncology Institute and expert investigators from the Pangaea Biotech S.L laboratory, as well as by distinguished international investgators from prestigious institutions such as the French Lung Cancer Group and UCSF.
